As a part of the January 2011 launch of the all-new redesigned 2012 Ford Focus , Ford Motor Company created a contest and sweepstakes via Social Media.
Participants entered, on the internet, and had questions they could answer daily, in order to earn points. There were 6-different Focus Rally teams driving around different parts of the country as a means of introducing the new Focus. Each entrant was to select which one of 6-teams they wanted to have as their team.
Each day, entrants could go online to follow their team, and answer questions to earn points. The top 23-point earning entrants were invited to 2-days and 2-nights in Las Vegas (along with a guest) to compete in a live competition of events. Many of these events were challenging. The top point earner of all the events would be the winner of the Focus Giveaway!
After competing, the winner was Liliana Cepa, of Delran, NJ. Ed Zelinka, sales consultant at Holman Ford Lincoln Maple Shade , delivered Liliana her new 2012 Ford Focus Titanium 5-door hatchback, equipped with My Touch, Navigation, Automatic Park Assist, Rain Sensing Wipers, Heated Leather Seats and a whole lot more!
She, and her family, could not have been more excited! Liliana stated that "I just can't believe that this is really happening. I'm still in a state of disbelief"!
